  • E-SafetyWorkshop - NSPCC

Calling all parents and carers, would you like to attend our free workshop and find out how you can keep your children safe online?

  • Walk for Wildlife 2017

We were delighted to take part in this world record attempt and raise money for our School Council project to encourage more wildlife onto our grounds.

We raised £167.82 which will be used to purchase materials to create habitats within the school grounds for a variety of species. We will be encouraging all children to get involved in this project, designing bug hotels, doing research and deciding which wildlife species to attract.

  • Children's University - Achievements

Congratulations go to three of our Children’s University students.

Millie Scully has attained her Bronze Certificate which is 130 hours of learning outside of school time. Millie particularly loves her gymnastics although she also participates in many of the school clubs.

Leah Cooper has gained her University Gold Diploma. This means that Leah has accrued 300 learning hours outside of school time. Whilst she also participates in many school clubs Leah has gained many of her hours enjoying new crafts and gaining different skills. This type of learning gains I stamp.

  • Family Fest 2017

Please click here for information on a weekend festival being held at River Dart Country Park on 9th-11th June.

  • Google Expeditions

On Friday 12th May, children in KS1 and KS2 enjoyed an expedition in the classroom, powered by Google and one of their associates, Mark.

Using smart phones and our iPads, Google worked collaboratively with each teacher to provide a virtual experience that focused on a range of places and objects linked to specific class topics. The children loved this innovative and exciting way of bringing topics to life and were well behaved.
Here's what we all got up:

  • RE Survey

    Dear Parent/Carer,

We are carrying out a survey to gather feedback about Religious Education.  We would really like all parents to complete the parent questionnaire and all pupils to complete the pupil questionnaire.  They won't take long and your responses will be invaluable in helping to shape the future of this subject.  Please can you complete the questionnaire by next Friday (12th May).

Many thanks for your support with this.
