The children were involved in a campaign called "Send My Friend to School". The children learned about other countries around the world where children do not have access to any form of education. They did not think thiswas fair so each child in the school created a A4 sizerd jigsaw pieceshowing hopw they felt about this.
Kevin Foster MP came into school so that Mrs Wain and the children could present him with a giant jigsaw made up with over 300 pieces. Somehow Kevin managed to transport this giant paper jigsaw to the Houses of Parliament to present to the Sectretary of State. She was very impressed!
See our twitter feed where both Kevin Foster and the Secretary of State have tweeted to say how fantastic the work the children did was. Look out in the Herald Express for more coverage of this!
